The vaccine provided will be Mexinvac by Sanofi (trivalent, covering influenza A and B ).
Reminders regarding the influenza vaccine:
Children 5 to 8 years of age who have not previously received two doses should receive two doses one month apart, followed by one dose annually.
Children 9 to 18 years of age should receive one dose annually, regardless of prior vaccination history.
Infants under 6 months of age should not be vaccinated.
Do not get vaccinated if you have a known egg allergy or a history of allergic reaction to a prior influenza vaccine.
Do not get vaccinated if you have a fever of 101.3ºF or higher.
