Dear ASFG Community,
With great respect and affection, we invite you to visit this year's Day of the Dead Altar, which will be dedicated to Marcela Rodríguez and Roxana Morales, both of whom worked on the cleaning staff at ASFG.
For this occasion, the elementary school students will create various decorations and objects to assemble the altar.
In the upcoming weeks, a letter will be sent to elementary parents asking for support with marigold flowers (cempasúchil), sugar skulls, and papel picado (cut-paper banners). We thank you in advance for your contribution.
The altar will be located between the Nurse´s Office and the Lower School cafeteria. It will be open for visits from Wednesday, October 28th at 2:00 p.m. to Tuesday, November 3rd.
We hope you enjoy and celebrate our Day of the Dead Altar with us as we honor our Mexican traditions and the joy of Halloween in our bicultural school.
Sincerely,
Programa Mexicano
