Last school year, 55% of our high school students took at least one Advanced Placement course at ASFG. We offered nineteen different AP courses, which are college-level classes. In total, we had 174 students take 417 AP exams with a 90% pass rate!
This year, we will be offering twenty different AP courses.
We would like to recognize the 85 students who earned an AP Scholar Award, with a special recognition for our six students from the Class of 2026 who earned the AP Capstone Diploma.
To earn the AP Capstone Diploma, students must earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research and on four additional AP Exams of their choosing. This is an outstanding achievement, and the award is acknowledged on any AP score report that is sent to colleges after the award has been conferred.
