Dear ASFG Community,
As we have shared in previous newsletters, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, we will celebrate our much-anticipated ArtFest, an event that brings together talent, creativity, and community spirit. We would love to have you join us—along with your family and friends—to experience this wonderful celebration of art.
One of the most special moments of the festival will undoubtedly be THE ART AUCTION, which, since last year, has been held during the festival on our school campus. The auction will take place at 3:00 p.m. and will be led by renowned auctioneer Luis Eduardo López Muñoz, who has more than 26 years of experience promoting and supporting the arts. He has participated in high-profile auctions and collaborated with important civic organizations and prestigious galleries in Guadalajara, ensuring a professional, dynamic, and exciting experience for all attendees.
This year’s auction holds special meaning, as we will once again feature artworks created by our high school AP Art students, reflecting their talent, discipline, and artistic sensitivity. In addition, we will present a unique collaborative piece created by our guest artist Víctor Haro, together with our middle school art teacher and students.
Beyond acquiring exceptional pieces, this auction offers an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the creative work of our students and to encourage them to continue developing their talent. It is also a wonderful chance for our children to discover the fascinating world of art, experience the excitement of a live auctioneer, and witness an enthusiastic community coming together to participate.
We invite you to explore the digital catalog available on the school’s website, as well as the booklet you will receive before the festival, to learn more about the pieces included in the auction.
Join us, participate, and invite your family and friends to be part of this experience that strengthens the artistic spirit of our community.
We look forward to welcoming you to ArtFest: 37th edition!
Please stay tuned for more details in our next newsletter.
