Dear ASFG Community,
With great respect and affection, we would like to invite you to visit and contribute to this year’s altar, which will be dedicated to our dear colleague Edgar Rivera, who was our security specialist.
In addition, there will be a special space to honor the memory of close family members (children, parents, and grandparents) of members of our community. If you wish to participate, please send a digital photograph of your loved one (including their name) by October 22 at 2:00 p.m. to sofia.alvarezdelcastillo@asfg.edu.mx
We also invite you to collaborate in the creation of the altar by contributing the following items:
Elementary School: Small and medium sugar skulls (

High School:
Papel picado
Donations can be dropped off from October 15 to 22 in the blue boxes located at Gate 1 and Gate 3 of the school.
The altar will be located between the nurse’s office and the elementary school cafeteria and will be available for visits from Wednesday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. until Friday, October 31, at the end of the Halloween event.
We are deeply grateful to the Parents Association for creating this year’s altar and for the valuable contribution of the different sections of the school.
I hope you enjoy and celebrate our Day of the Dead altar, embracing our Mexican traditions along with the fun of Halloween in our bicultural school.
