ANNOUNCEMENT:
"2021-2022 SCHOLARSHIPS"

The Educational Scholarship Foundation (ESF) provides partial scholarships to those talented students whose families are currently encountering financial difficulties.
We know that many of you are waiting for the resolution of SEJ scholarships (Mexican program) to be defined on the 26th of this month.
In order to save time, we are calling for ESF Scholarship applications for the 2021-2022 school year.
REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR AN ESF SCHOLARSHIP

Must agree to collaborate by volunteering your time during the 2021-2022 school year of the scholarship.
Students and families receiving a scholarship should commit to perform ESF volunteer work, (families 10-hour minimum, student 40-hour minimum).

Must be enrolled at The American School Foundation of Guadalajara, A.C. and/or:
- Have studied the past school year at ASFG.
- Have been a student for at least one of four previous years and withdrawn for one year due to family finances.
- Must agree to a 2021 financial study.
- Must maintain a minimum cumulative average of 8.0.
- Must complete and submit the ESF documentation on time.
- Must contribute to the recurring donation program.

The call for ESF scholarships consists of two steps:
STEP 1 -2021 Financial Study-
- If you have a financial study carried out during the year 2021, (presented for the SEJ scholarship) you are ready to continue with step 2.
- If you do not have a financial study, we invite you to complete the process as soon as possible. For more information, we invite you to join the optional virtual explanatory meeting (this meeting only needs to be attended by the parent(s) or guardian(s) who will carry out the process, the student is not required to attend).

STEP 2 -Scholarship Application-
In order to understand the expectations when obtaining an ESF scholarship, as well as the details of the process, it is mandatory for the parent or guardian, along with the candidate student, to participate in the ESF VIRTUAL MANDATORY MEETING.
Friday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m.
DEADLINE to have completed the process: Wednesday June 9, 2021
Scholarship resolution date: Tuesday June 22, 2021.
Please be aware that applying for a scholarship does not automatically guarantee that the student will receive financial support.
